
Keisha Zollar-attended UCSD where she double majored in Theatre Arts and Communications Media Arts.
At UCSD she was co president of her college's theatre troupe, performed with various improv and sketch groups, performed-wrote-directed
more than 20 shows, spread awareness of social injustices using theatre in various campus organizations, and was eventually
hired on as an acting consultant teaching sketch comedy and promoting cultural awareness. In 2002 Miss Zollar moved
to New York City to attend graduate school at the Actors Studio where she studied acting. Upon graduating she found
work as an in school children's game show host with the show Arithmetickles. After a brief stay there with Arithmetickles
she began working with ‘Eight is NEVER Enough.' Then in 2006 Keisha Zollar formally began her public speaking
career with The National Mental Health Awareness Campaign; speaking to youth across America about mental health awareness.
This was also the year she began teaching improv and acting workshops in Houston, TX with the YES Central School. Currently,
Miss Zollar is working with ‘Eight is NEVER Enough' to develop an educational program to teach youth and adults
improv. In addition she is still a social activist with her improv group ‘God Tastes Like Chicken'.
Currently, she has a national Kleenex commercial running, and is working on an independent sketch comedy pilot.
